February Dragon is a story that talks about three children called Turps,Resin and Columbine Pine.It is an old fashion story and some of the things in it are very confusing for us and it isn't very uderstandable.You may think its about a dragon but its talking about the bush fire season in February.

This book is about three young children named Colin, Crystal and Melton who live in the Australian bush from many years ago. In the second chapter of this book Colin Thiele talks about the neighbourhood animals that lived around their hometown such as lambs, piglets,goats,rabbits and so many more.

I think february dragon is a intresting book because it takes you back through time to meet three kids nick named: turps,resinand colinbine
At first I thought that Colinbine was a girl because it sounds like colinbena but then I found out that he was a boy and is called that because it rymes with his real name Colin Pine, he is in kindi and has a brother called Resin but his real name is Melton Pine and a sister called Turps who is real name is Crystal Pine.

I think that chapter 3 is short and the charactars are very hard to remmember their gender. Also i wonder what the cars looked like back then.

February Dragon is mainly about three children called Colin, Crystal and Melton that are from the Australian bush.They also have nicknames cColin is Columbine Crystal is Turps and Melton is Resin.February Dragon is a bit hard to understand but it is also very interesting because it tells us how the Australian bush was 60 years ago.Also people may think it is about a dragon but it isn't it is about a bushfire in February.
I think it would be a good book to read.
